Mining Operations In The Goldfields
Our primary mine site, Gordon Sirdar, is located 55km north-west of Kalgoorlie. First mined in the late 1800s using a shaft and airleg, Gordon Sirdar has evolved in the centuries since. Modern open-pit mining began in 1999 and continued in various stages until 2012, when Gordon Sirdar first went underground.
Gordon Sirdar is part of the FMR Investments’ end-to-end mining and processing network, where extracted ore is transported to our processing facility Greenfields Mill for treatment.
Joint-Venture Mining
We work in partnership with resource owners to deliver end-to-end joint venture mining projects that maximise value and unlock the potential of mineral assets.
By combining technical expertise, capital, and operational capability, we support projects from exploration and development through to mining and production, including downstream processing. We focus on creating long-term, collaborative partnerships that deliver strong commercial outcomes and ensure each project benefits from integrated, efficient delivery across the mining and processing value chain.
Integrated Mining
And Processing
FMR Investments’ joint-venture mining operations are closely linked to our processing facilities. This creates a seamless transition from ore extraction to successful gold recovery. Once we have mined material, it is transported to Greenfields Mill for precise processing.
